Two days Training in Ayurvedic Acupressure cum Treatment at Delhi: 9 -11 Jan 15

Two days training in Ayurvedic acupressure related to brain and spinal cord was conducted at Delhi on 10 and 11 Jan 15. Classes were taken by Sansthan director and the creator of the unique Ayurvedic acupressure therapy by Shri J. P. Agarwal with the support of Shri Ram Kumar Sharma in a very simplified and easily comprehensible language. Brain and spinal cord diseases such as paralysis, C.P., subdural hematoma, multiple small lesions in white matter, autism, lumbosacral osteophytes, seizure, trigeminal neuralgia, etc were explained with the help of case histories. The event was organized by Smt. Ramola Madnani and Shri Ambika Pandey. 51 students from Delhi, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh attended the training. Shri J. P. Agarwal also treated 100 patients at Delhi on 9 Jan 15.

Two Days Awareness Training in Acupressure cum Treatment Camp at Jaunpur: 6 – 7 Feb 15

Two days awareness training in Acupressure was conducted at Purvanchal University, Jaunpur on 6 and 7 Feb 15 by the Sansthan. The Sansthan team was led by Shri Shyam Sundar Saraf, the founder patron of the Sansthan and assisted by four Sansthan lecturers. The team also included Shri B. P. Shukla, Sansthan general secretary. About 350 patients were treated during the camp. On the occasion of the inaugural function, Shri B. P. Shukla explained the usefulness of acupressure therapy and about its inclusion by many universities in their syllabus. Vice Chancellor of Purvanchal University Prof. Piyush Ranjan Agrawal in his address emphasized the importance of acupressure which can greatly contribute towards a healthy society sans medicine.

11 Day Advanced Level Residential Training in Chinese Acupressure, Allahabad: 15 – 23 Feb 15

A nine day advanced level residential training in Chinese acupressure was conducted at Acupressure Takshshila, Chhatnag, Allahabad from  15 to 23 Feb 15. 67 trainees from various states were enrolled. The training event was inaugurated by chief income tax commissioner, Shri Sudhir Kumar who was the chief guest on the occasion. The Sansthan tri-monthly magazine Saraswati Issue I was released on this occasion by Sansthan director Shri J. P. Agrawal. Dr. Prakash Khetan, a renowned neurosurgeon of Allahabad, released the book Chinese Hand Book Part II. Shri M K Midha, Sansthan’s vice president (treatment), was the chief coordinator of the training programme.

Classes were conducted by a team of lecturers from the Sansthan ably led by Sansthan president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka. Training was based mainly on the ‘A Treatise on Advance Acupuncture/Acupressure’ Volumes 1 to 22 less Volumes 3, 4, 5, and Single Point books Volumes 1, 2, 4; all authored by Shri Khemka. Dr. Prakash Khetan, a well known neurosurgeon of Allahabad, imparted to the students knowledge of the functioning and disorders related to brain during the training. Shri Lalit Modi, director Jhunjhunu Academy Rajasthan, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

Two Days Residential Ayurvedic Acupressure Capsule Course at Allahabad 14 – 15 Mar 15

A two days residential Ayurvedic acupressure capsule course was conducted by the Sansthan at Saraswati Ashram, Chhatnag, Allahabad on 14 and 15 Mar 15. The classes were conducted by the Sansthan director Shri J. P. Agrawal himself lasting for eight hours on each day covering the very important aspects of brain and spinal cord disorders and treatment. 147 students from various states attended the training. 

Eight Days Advanced Level Residential Training in Electro Acupuncture and Yogic Chakra at Allahabad: 19 – 26 Apr 14 

Eight days advanced level residential training in electro acupuncture according to Voll was conducted by the Sansthan at Saraswati Ashram, Chhatnag, Allahabad from 19 to 26  Apr 15. The training was inaugurated by Justice M. C. Tripathi of Allahabad High Court who was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. 65 trainees from various states attended the training. Theoretical and practical classes were conducted by a team of dedicated lecturers of the Sansthan led by Sansthan’s president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka. Shri J. P. Agrawal, Sansthan director, imparted to the students knowledge of the books Patanjali Yogic Acupressure, Param Sukshm Abinav Volumes I and II. Shri M K Midha, vice president (treatment) of the Sansthan was the chief coordinator of the training.

The students were greatly benefitted by lectures delivered by guest speakers as follows:

*      Urinary problems by Dr. Siddharth, professor Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad.

 

*      Blood, urine and stool tests by eminent pathologist Dr. Parul Mathur.

 

*      Depression by psychiatry expert Dr. Vipul Mathur.

Five Days Chinese Acupressure Training cum Treatment Camp at Jaipur: 6 – 10 May 15 

Five days basic Chinese acupressure training cum treatment camp was conducted at Jaipur from 6 to 10 May 15. 79 trainees attended the training. The event was conducted by a Sansthan team of lecturers led by Smt. Archana Trivedi. Shri Mohan Chaudhary was the coordinator of the event. Treatment was also carried out on all the days.

Two Days Tongue Diagnosis Residential Capsule Course at Allahabad 16 – 17 May 15

Two days residential training in tongue diagnosis was conducted at Chhatnag, Jhunsi, Allahabad on 16 and 17 May 15. The training was based on the book ‘A Treatise on Advance Acupuncture/Acupressure’ pertaining to tongue diagnosis. Most of the knowledge of the subject was imparted by Sansthan president Shri M. P. Khemka who dealt with the subject in great depth.  Shri Khemka was ably assisted by Smt. Archana Trivedi and Km Archana Dube.

 

Two Days Training in Advance Ayurvedic Acupressure at Chandigarh: 23 – 24 May 15

Two days training in advance Ayurvedic acupressure was conducted for the first time at Chandigarh on 23 and 24 May 15 by Sansthan director Shri J.P. Agrawal. Shri Agrawal imparted knowledge of various complex diseases and their treatment in great detail. The elite of Chandigarh was present in large numbers to grace the occasion on the opening day and included Justice N. K. Sanghi, Justice Amit Rawal, Justice Haripal Verma, Smt. Sujata Das (principal secretary vigilance), Smt. Rita Kohli (advocate general) and Smt. Simran Kaur (president Lion’s club). 45 students from various parts of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh attended the training.  Shri Parmanand Gupta was the chief coordinator of the event and was assisted by Shri K. L. Manchanda and a team of coordinators.

Acupressure Awareness Camp and Five Days Training at Central Organization Railway Electrification, Allahabad: 1 – 6 Jun 15

An acupressure awareness camp was organized at Central Organization Railway Electrification. The event was inaugurated by Shri Mahesh Mangal, general manager railways. Shri S. P. Singh was the team in charge and was assisted by Shri Shyam Sundar Saraf and Shri Vishal Jaiswal. More than 70 officers and staff of the organization were present. Subsequently, a five days training programme in Chinese acupressure was organized and which was attended by 48 trainees. Shri Vishal Jaiswal was   coordinator of this event.

Inauguration of a Treatment Centre at Central Organization Railway Electrification, Allahabad: 12 Jun 15

A new treatment centre was opened at ladies club of Central Organization Railway Electrification, Allahabad on 12 Jun 15. The centre was inaugurated by Shri Mahesh Mangal, general manager railways. Shri S. S. Saraf, Shri S. P. Singh and other members of the Sansthan were present on the occasion. The centre is being run under the stewardship of Km Archana Dubey.

Shri Girdhar Lal B. Mistry Passes Away: 12 Jun 2015

 

Shri Girdhar Lal B. Mistry, Sansthan’s senior lecturer, breathed his last on 12 Jun 2015. Shri Mistry was born on 1 Jul 1938. He obtained his basic acupressure training from the Sansthan during Mahakumbh 2001. Shri Mistry dedicated himself in the later years of his life to the service of suffering humanity. He has authored many acupressure books, as also invented a number of acupressure instruments. His contribution to the propagation of acupressure therapy is unforgettable. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace!


 

15 Days Acupressure Awareness and Training Programme cum Treatment Camp in Jhunjhunu district and neigbouring places commencing 29 Jul 15

15 days Acupressure awareness and training programme cum treatment camp commencing on 29 Jul 15 was organized by the Sansthan in Jhunjhunu district and neigbouring places under the aegis of Jeevam Education Pvt. Ltd. Shri Dilip Modi and Smt. Neerja Modi are the director and managing director of the foundation respectively. The whole event was conceived and executed by Shri Shyam Sundar Saraf, patron and vice president (general) of the Sansthan, ably assisted by Shri Siya Pratap Singh, vice president (rural).

The event commenced with an acupressure awareness programme for the benefit of three educational institutions of Jhunjhunu on 29 Jul 15 and was attended by an overall strength of 1600 students and 50 teachers. In the evening of the same day, training was specially organized for the ladies covering menstruation related disorders and their acupressure treatment. The programme was attended by 160 ladies.

Modi Acupressure Training and Treatment centre, which was granted affiliation by the Sansthan, was inaugurated at Jhunjhunu on 31 Jul 15. Treatment was started immediately after the inauguration during which 30 patients were attended to on the very first day.

An acupressure training programme was organized at Jhunjhunu on 2 Aug 15 for the benefit of teachers of Jeevam Education Pvt. Ltd and general citizens. A treatment camp was organized at the neighbouring Badagaon from 3 to 6 Aug 15 during which 260 patients were treated. On 3 Aug 15 itself, acupressure awareness programme was conducted at the local teacher’ training college which was attended by 300 students and 10 teachers. Acupressure awareness programme was again conducted on 6 Aug 15 at the local secondary school and was attended by about 100 students and 10 teachers. Subsequently, acupressure training programmes were conducted at various schools affiliated to Jeevam Education Pvt. Ltd at Nawalgarh, Laxmangarh, Surajgarh, Bagggad, Fatehpur and Chidawa.

9 Day Residential Training in Ayurvedic Acupressure, Allahabad: 19 -27 Sep 15 

A nine day residential training in Ayurvedic acupressure was organized by the Sansthan at Chhatnag, Jhunsi, Allahabad from 19 to 27 Sep 15. 91 trainees enrolled for the course. Drawn by the pioneering therapy of Ayurvedic acupressure, two foreign students from USA and Poland also attended the training. It is heartening that Ayurvedic acupressure originated in India by Shri J. P. Agrawal is inching its way towards foreign shores. Justice Rajes Kumar of Allahabad High Court was the chief guest at the inaugural function of the training.

Classes were conducted by a dedicated team of the Sansthan under the guidance of Shri J P Agrawal, the founder of Ayurvedic acupressure. Shri Agrawal explained the fine nuances of various concepts of Ayurvedic acupressure based on the books written by him. Dr. Siddharth, eminent urologist, Dr. Deepak Gupta, renowned radiologist and Dr. Brijendra Pandey, research associate cardiac department SGPGI, Lucknow illuminated the trainees with in depth knowledge of their respective subjects. Shri Brij Bhushan Sharma, IG Police Allahabad, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. 

 

 

 

Three Days Training in Basic and Advance Ayurvedic Acupressure at Chandigarh: 2 – 4 Oct 15

Three days training in basic and advance Ayurvedic acupressure was conducted at Chandigarh from 2 to 4 Oct 15 by Sansthan director Shri J.P. Agrawal. Justice N. K. Sanghi, and Justice R. S. Malik were the chief guests during the opening ceremony. Shri Agrawal imparted knowledge of Ayurvedic acupressure to the trainees in an exceptionally lucid manner. Basic training to the students was imparted by Shri Ram Kumar Sharma. A highlight of the training  was attendance by no less a person than Smt. Sujata Das, chief secretary Punjab. Justice Raj Mohan too participated in the final session of the training. 45 students from various parts of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh attended the training.  Shri Parmanand Gupta was the chief coordinator of the event and was assisted by Shri K. L. Manchanda and a team of coordinators. In spite of his busy schedule, Shri Agrawal found time to treat about 100 patients on 5 Oct 15.

Two Days Chinese Acupressure Super Advance Capsule Course pertaining to Diagnosis at Allahabad: 10 - 11 Oct 15

Two days super advance capsule course pertaining to various aspects of Chinese acupressure diagnosis was organized by the Sansthan at Allahabad on 10 and 11 Oct 15. The capsule course was based on Treatise XVI and XVIII authored by the Sansthan president Shri M. P. Khemka, as well as on Therapists Hand Book Part I. 97 students attended the capsule course. The classes were conducted mainly by Shri Khemka and ably assisted by Sansthan’s faculty Km. Archana Dubey and Smt. Archana Trivedi. 

Two Days Workshop on Tongue Diagnosis at New Delhi: 31 Oct - 1 Nov 15

Two days Workshop on tongue diagnosis according to Chinese acupressure was conducted by the Sansthan at New Delhi for the first time on 31 Oct and 1 Nov 15. The workshop was based on Treatise XVIII authored by the Sansthan president Shri M. P. Khemka. The event was organized by Smt. Ramola Madnani and Shri Nirmal Madnani. 32 students attended the workshop. The classes were conducted by the Sansthan’s faculty Km. Archana Dubey and Smt. Archana Trivedi.  

Seventeenth National Acupressure Conference cum Super Advance Training at Allahabad: 15 – 21 Nov 2015

Seventeenth national acupressure conference cum super advance training was organized at Allahabad from 15 to 21 Nov 2015 at Rajshri Purushottam Das Tandon Mandapam. Justice Rakesh Tiwari and Justice V K Chaturvedi were the guests of honour at the opening ceremony. Saraswati issue 3 - 4 and Treatise XXIII authored by the Sansthan president Shri M. P. Khemka were released on the occasion. Shri K. C. Goel coordinated the event which was attended by delegates from 15 states.

A number of research papers were read out at the conference. Shri M. P. Khemka, Shri J.P. Agarwal, Shri M.B. Tripathi, Shri A.K. Dwivedi and Km Archana Dubey conducted the training classes. The training was mainly based on Treatise XXIII and which was explained by Shri Khemka in great detail. Shri J.P. Agarwal, Sansthan director lucidly explained various brain disorders and gave out their diagnosis and treatment according to the tenets of Ayurvedic acupressure. Justice V. K. Chaturvedi graced the occasion at the closing ceremony.

The students were fortunate to hear at first hand the various aspects of Western medicine by eminent guest speakers as follows:

*      Heart disorders by Dr. Brijendra Pandey, cardiologist SGPGI, Lucknow.

 

*      Structure and function of brain and brain disorders by Dr. Prakash Khetan, renowned neuro surgeon of Allahabad.

 

*      Reading of x-ray by Dr. Deepak Gupta, eminent radiologist.

 

*      Structure and function of liver and liver disorders by Dr. Siddharth, professor Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad.
